“Bird flu: Are we sufficiently prepared? "

Bird flu is now the greatest health crisis both for humans and birds. It's also the gravest epidemic crisis faced by mankind ever.....Bangladesh has been in a state of denial and not ready to accept this fact of life and act. However, it seems it has finally woken up to the situation and is planning action bringing the business sector and BRAC together....FAO and WHO are saying that with public support and awareness, the crisis may be reduced greatly. Instead of fearing to deal with it, we must act. Instead of panic, we must prepare. Instead of ignorance, we must know.

....Last year we have discovered a unknown hidden area where live part time sex workers who are doing sex trade within and outside of country. This area becomes a high risk area in the Khulna , comprises three sub districts ‘Oboyoienagar', ‘Degolia' and ‘Kalia'. The content of this documentary is uncensored opinions of the grassroots people. The duration of the documentary is 8.25 minutes. To represent the grassroots reality, we have focused on, “Muktagacha” and have recorded short interview of rickshaw puller, teacher, shopkeeper, artist, priest, student and youth group.

Disable people don't have minimum social recognition and rights surety In Bangladesh . As an indicator, if we observe school there is no presence and or positive options for disables students; and same scenario in the employments also. But in road side, traffic streets – we see them as beggars. It seems that they born only for begging. As a citizen disable people are not well recognized, don't have surety of basic rights. In Bangladesh out of 64 districts 61 has mobile telecommunication connectivity; but I am sorry only don't have 3 Chittagong Hill Tracks' districts. In this case also the indigenous people also affected by inequality...VIDEO CLIP
