We, as community broadcasters, are acutely aware that dominant patterns
of production and consumption are causing environmental devastation,
resource depletion and extinction of species. The benefits of
development are not shared equitably and the gap between rich and poor
is widening.

UPEACE Costa Rica Campus Scholarships 2009

At present, the *UPEACE Costa Rica Campus* has 150 students from 55 different countries, making it one of the most diverse universities in the world for its size. UPEACE is the only institution in the UN family authorized to grant degrees at the Master’s and Doctoral levels. The
language of instruction is English.

And good ultimately comes, provided our objective is clear.” said Imam Dr Abduljalil Sajid. He searched the root of terror in his book, “Why TERROR - is there no alternative?”.

The East and West Pakistan were forged in the cauldron of independence for the Indian sub-continent, ruled for two hundred years by the British. Despite the attempts of Mahatma Gandhi and others to prevent division along religious and ethnic lines, the departing British and various Indian politicians pressed for the creation of two states, one Hindu-dominated (India), the other Muslim-dominated (Pakistan).
