Today’s Youth Asia (TYA)’s “YOUNG ACHIEVERS’ AWARD” was presented to thirteen young individuals on 21st October, 2008 in Kathmandu. The Chief Guest at the award ceremony was Mr. Kim Yang, a leading economist of South Korea.

SAVAC (South Asian Visual Arts Centre) invites submissions for its fifth annual international short film and video screening program MONITOR 5. MONITOR 5 is devoted to the presentation of experimental short films and videos by South Asian artists, who explore the depths of their medium and challenge the parameters of film and video making. MONITOR 5 invites innovative films of personal expression, documentaries, performance and animation.

The immediate issue of i4d magazine – November is woven with the theme of ‘HIV/AIDS’. We encourage wide variety of submissions on the topic areas outlined below. Please note that the articles/papers will be edited to fit the required length, which is two to three printed pages, or 1500-3000 words.
