For young people full of enthusiasm , it’s a very valuable opportunity to
connect with other youth AIDS activists, learn, represent GYCA, and play an
important role in shaping youth-founded and youth-led global network on HIV
& AIDS in respective countries and serving globally in response to HIV &
AIDS.

The European Commission (EC) under its European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR) has issued a Call for Proposals for the “Actions Supporting Human Rights and Democracy Issues covered by the EU Guidelines on Children and Armed Conflict and for the Promotion and Protection of the Rights of the Child.” As indicated, it is divided into two lots, namely, ‘Children and Armed Conflict’ and ‘Promotion and Protection of the Rights of the Child’ and applicants need to define any one lot out of the two, though actions can be related to both the lots.

This is to inform you that the Fund for Global Human Rights has issued a new Request for Proposals for human rights organizations based in Burundi, Guinea, *Pakistan *and Uganda. The deadline to submit proposals is *January 19, 2009*.  You can also access the RFP in English on the Fund’s
